ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — A man was convicted of brutally assaulting a woman at a Canton apartment, the Cherokee County district attorney said.
Desmond Marquis Herbin attacked the woman on Nov. 20, 2023, according to prosecutors.
The woman was in an abusive relationship with Herbin, and when she tried to leave in a car, Herbin pushed her against a wall and “applied pressure to her neck until she lost consciousness,” the district attorney said…
