Andre Steven Pinckney, 31, of Atlanta, is accused of entering a blue 2020 Nissan Altima on April 10 at 6:32 a.m. at the Stratford Ridge Apartment complex, 2560 Delk Road in Marietta, according to an arrest warrant from the Cobb County Police Department.
Pinckney, who did not live in the complex, was seen entering the vehicle by the victim’s son. He remained in the car until the victim and his son both came out of the apartment.
Pinckney then took off his clothes inside the car and fled the scene. Pinckney attempted to open multiple doors in Building D and later tried to force open a window at Building E with a crowbar. A laptop that didn’t belong to the victim was found in a hallway outside of one of the residences where Pinckney had been trying to break in.
