FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. — The Forsyth County Commission is considering its sales tax options four years after voters shot down a transportation sales tax.
At a May 12 work session, commissioners said they were considering alternatives to the Transportation Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax, citing its unpopularity with voters. If the county pursues a transportation sales tax, it could appear on November ballots.
