AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – The Amarillo Sod Poodles fell to the Tulsa Drillers 7-6 in the completion of Saturday’s suspended game and 7-1 in seven innings Sunday at HODGETOWN. The Soddies dropped the series five games to one.

Tulsa took a 2-0 lead in the second inning when Jake Gelof hit a two-run homer off the left field foul pole. The game was suspended due to weather with Demetrio Crisantes at bat in the bottom of the second.
When play resumed Sunday, Druw Jones doubled to right field and Gavin Conticello singled through the left side to cut the deficit to 2-1.
