Hud’s to host back-to-back groundbreaking ceremonies ahead of new restaurant

AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) – Hud’s is preparing to break ground on a new restaurant with two back-to-back ceremonies on Monday.

Below is a provided schedule for the ceremonies:

  • Amarillo Chamber of Commerce – 2 p.m.
  • Amarillo Hispanic Chamber of Commerce – 3 p.m.

Officials shared that the new restaurant will be located on Osage Street, just down the road from Caprock High School.

“As someone who grew up in Amarillo, it has always been a dream of mine to build something meaningful in the community that helped shape who I am,” said Marcus Calderon, owner and director of operations for Hud’s. “We are excited to invest in and serve the community that invested in me as a young man.”
