AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – Saint Francis Ministries and and several community partners came together Wednesday to celebrate family reunification.
Saint Francis Ministries works alongside families and children in foster care.
“We have these families and everyone, we have our challenges in life,” said Jessica Hoskins, director of permanency and reunification at Saint Francis Ministries. “And when children get taken out of the home and get kind of put in the foster care system, even if they’re with foster homes that are wonderful and loving and really bridge that gap, or if they’re with family members that also do the heavy lifting of caring for these kids while they can, we have these parents that really have to face their struggles.”…
