Legendary Amarillo High volleyball coach inducted into National High School Hall of Fame

AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — Former Amarillo High School volleyball coach Jan Barker has received one of the nation’s highest honors in high school athletics, joining the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) National High School Hall of Fame.

Barker was among 12 inductees honored Monday during the 43rd National High School Hall of Fame induction ceremony at the Hyatt Regency in Salt Lake City, Utah. Induction into the Hall of Fame is the NFHS’ highest recognition for individuals who have made significant contributions to high school sports and activities.
