AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — Construction is underway for the new 79,000 square-foot hangar located at Amarillo International Airport for International Aerospace Coatings.
Globally, IAC is a leader in aircraft painting and aviation services with 10 locations throughout the United States and Europe. IAC Office Manager Diane Mendez shared Amarillo was chosen as the location for a new hangar likely due to its central location and consistent productivity.
“We’re smack in the middle of the U.S., so it’s easy for the airlines to get to us,” said Mendez. “We have access to one of the largest runways in the U.S. So, all of those things, and I think just cranking out success, great planes, great customer satisfaction.”
