AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) – In this edition of High Plains History, we sit down with Makayla Barrientos, Consumer Outreach & Engagement Specialist with BSA Health System, to talk about the history of BSA Hospital.
Barrientos talks about how the hospital was started in 1901, the location on Amarillo Boulevard, and the history that building holds here on the High Plains, as well as the consolidation of High Plains Baptist Hospital and St. Anthony’s Hospital in 1996 to form the BSA people know today.
