Second suspect in Mississippi Street shooting pleads guilty

AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – The accused getaway driver in the March 22 shooting on Mississippi Street pleaded guilty to his charges.

Adan Moyces Lamas, 20, appeared in 108th District Court last week and pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

In exchange for his guilty plea, Judge Timothy Pirtle sentenced Lamas to eight years in prison.

Lamas and his co-defendant, Asaiah Zuniga-Valle, were charged with shooting at a house party near SW 3rd and Mississippi Street. Two men were seriously wounded during the shooting…
