The free event, celebrating the nation’s 250th anniversary, led by the City of Amarillo Parks and Recreation Department in collaboration with Outdoor Amarillo drew 21,400 people to John Stiff Memorial Park last month for two days of festivities, including a fireworks and drone show the evening of July 4, according to data released by the city.
