Man accused in Amarillo March shooting sentenced

AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — A man accused in a shooting in Amarillo in March was sentenced according to court documents.

2 arrested in Amarillo for methamphetamine distribution charge

Adan Lamas was sentenced to eight years in prison for each of his two “Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon Charges.”

As was previously reported, Azaiah Zuniga-Valle and Lamas were reportedly at a party on the 300 block of South Mississippi in March. After being asked to leave, one of the men was accused of firing an “AR-15” style weapon towards the home hitting two people.

Zuniga-Valle agreed to plead guild to “Unlawful Possession of a Machine Gun” in July…
