AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — Two teens have been sentenced to prison after pleading guilty in connection with a drive-by shooting that sent 50 shots into a home with eight people, including three children, inside.
Ruben Terrazas, 19, pleaded guilty July 29 to eight counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and one count of tampering with or fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair. He was sentenced to 12 years in prison on each aggravated assault count and 10 years on the evidence-tampering charge. The sentences will run concurrently, meaning they will be served at the same time.
