AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) – The Amarillo Botanical Gardens is preparing to host their annual Day with the Butterflies event, featuring breakfast and a butterfly release.
The event will be on Saturday, Sept. 12th from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with breakfast at 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.
CMBC and Amarillo National Bank team up for blood drive
According to organizers, there will be arts and crafts, educational booths, a butterfly seminar, a book signing by author Elizabeth White Olsen at 11:30 a.m. and the grand opening of the John P. Connell Butterfly Sanctuary.
Tickets prices are listed below, all of which include an individual butterfly to release:
- General Admission, no breakfast – $15
- 10 and Under w/breakfast – $20
- 11 and Over w/breakfast – $25
