AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) – Heal the City is a nonprofit with the simple mission of providing quality medical care to those uninsured in our community.
The nonprofit was founded by Dr. Alan Keister, an Amarillo physician who identified a desperate need for healthcare throughout certain neighborhoods within Amarillo.

Since it was founded, it has helped people across the community through its Shalom Chronic Care, along with its acute care offering a free clinic for those in need. The nonprofit not only focuses on physical health but also on whole-person care.
