VA says resident tied to complaints is no longer at Amarillo VA Community Living Center

Katherine Wade said she and her husband, William J. Wade, raised concerns about alleged threats and other complaints involving the resident. They also questioned whether the person was a veteran. She said they felt their concerns were not addressed.

Last month, William Wade said the situation brought back trauma he believed he had moved past.

“Sleepless nights because I thought I had buried my PTSD and the hat that you see is something that two years ago, I would never have worn. But I have gotten on now because I become prouder of the group of us that went over there,” William J. Wade said…
