Amarillo College has named Dr. David Woodburn and Dr. Paul Proffer as its 2026 Distinguished Alumni.
AC said it is recognizing the two graduates whose careers in health care, commitment to Amarillo and decades of service to the college have left a lasting impact on the community — coming full circle as regents.
“Their selection as the 2026 Distinguished Alumni reflects not only what they accomplished after leaving Amarillo College, but also what they have continued to give back to the college and the community they call home,” an AC news release states…
