AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) – An Amarillo teenager was indicted by a Potter County Grand Jury on Thursday after he was accused of injuring another person while illegally racing on a highway in March.
Court documents said 17-year-old Jonathan Alexis Medina Avalos was indicted in Potter County on Thursday on one count of “racing on highway causing bodily injury,” a third-degree felony.
The indictment comes after an incident on March 28, according to court documents, in which Medina Avalos allegedly participated in a race on a highway while another person was a passenger in the truck he was driving.
