AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — A federal grand jury indicted a man after DPS said it found meth in a U.S. Postal Service envelope during a traffic stop on I-40 in Amarillo.
Richard Bernard Whitebird, 55, was indicted Sept. 24 on charges of possession with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine, felon in possession of a firearm and possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug-trafficking crime.
