CANYON, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — Palo Duro Canyon State Park announced that the park road “hill” going into the canyon is currently closed due to boulders and debris from Tuesday night’s storm.
According to state park officials, the road needs to be cleared before it is safe for vehicles to pass. Officials also noted that all trails in the canyon are closed.
Park officials stated that they will provide updates once the road is cleared and reopened.
