AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — The rain passed for now, but it left behind damage to several businesses and homes the next day.
“This is something we kind of have happen to us every time we get rain like this. It happened to us five to six years ago,” said Panhandle Greenhouse CEO Aaryn Cathey. “We were prepared for it in the sense of, when we get there, we’re going to see all the water.”

Cathey explained that at this point there is not much that can be done until it recedes.
Cathey added: “We are blessed because we’re in the middle of a remodel so we actually already had everything lifted up, which is kind of nice so that is what is for us.”…
