Amarillo man pleaded guilty to methamphetamine distribution-related charges

AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — An Amarillo man has pleaded guilty in Federal Court to conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine.

According to documents, Michael Cairns was re-arraigned on Tuesday and pleaded guilty to the charge. Cairns is awaiting sentencing.

Cairns sentencing is scheduled for May.
