AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — Area student spellers are set to take the stage for the annual Potter County Spelling Bee at George Washington Carver Elementary Academy on Thursday afternoon, the Amarillo Independent School District announced.
The District detailed that in 2023, Bonham Middle School student Jayden Zheng advanced to the eighth round of competition at the Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington, D.C.
Now, Amarillo students are once again looking to achieve success in the spelling world.
