Family Support Services of Amarillo (FSS) invites the community to its 14th annual Mardi Gras Party, scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 3 from 7 to 11 p.m. at the Amarillo Civic Center Heritage Room.
This year’s event will include a dinner provided by Market Street Amarillo featuring beef tenderloin and chicken, a crowd favorite casino and auction, entertainment, a tarot card reader and live music provided by the Solano Project. This year will also include a 360-photo booth, and the pre-show entertainment will be provided by Micah Bynum.
Some of this year’s auction items will include Texas Rangers tickets, Sod Poodles tickets, Dallas Cowboys tickets, a hunting trip to Argentina, a Florida vacation, artwork, home furnishings, services, fine dining and much more.
“This event is important to us because it helps us fund the services we provide and fill gaps in funding. The event has grown over the years and has helped us raise more to provide our service, which comes at no cost to the public and the people we serve, and it’s helped us raise more awareness and help more people,” Joette Campbell, Chief Development Officer for FSS, said.
