Toot’n Totum raises more than $140,000 for Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign

AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — Toot’n Totum partnered with the Salvation Army for its annual Red Kettle Campaign and released the results of the holiday fundraiser, noting that more than $140,000 was raised for the campaign.

“We want to be clear, it was our guests, the generous people of Amarillo, Lubbock and the Tri-State area who raised this money,” said Andrew Mitchell, CEO of Toot’n Totum. “It’s a reminder of how generous our area is and how they’re always willing to go above and beyond to help their neighbors. We’re thankful to have been able to play a role in such a big donation.”

Officials with Toot’n Totum noted that the $144,698.92 donation total was raised as part of the company’s first-ever “Change for the Better” campaign which saw customers “round-up” their tickets to the nearest whole dollar, with the additional amount benefitting the Red Kettle Campaign.

The donations garnered during Toot’n Totum’s campaign, which ran from Nov. 10, 2023 to Dec. 31, 2023, will be distributed by region to each Salvation Army chapter based on the donation location.
