Texas Senate candidate visits Amarillo

AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — Today, U.S. Senate candidate Roland Gutierrez met with voters and activists in Amarillo while on his 2024 West Texas Tour.

According to the press release, Gutierrez met with voters at a meet and greet at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday that took place at Chalic Abbey.

“Democracy is on the line this year, and Texans need a Senator who is going to stand up and fight for them on the real issues – restoring women’s reproductive rights, getting more money to working families, and fixing our broken immigration system,” said Uvalde State Senator Roland Gutierrez.

The press release stated that Roland Gutierrez finished a 25-day, more than 4,500-mile drive across Texas in over a dozen cities and towns earlier this week.

“Texas is tired of D.C. politicians who are fine with the status quo. I’m going all around the state to tell everyone that we could have it so much better.”
