One person has been injured after a shooting at an Amarillo hotel on Monday night, according to a news release from the Amarillo Police Department.
About 9:22 p.m. Monday, Feb. 5, officers were called to the Woodspring Suites, 4601 E. I-40, for a report of shots fired. Officers found a man with a gunshot wound on his upper body. The injury was not life threatening.
APD said the suspects had already left the scene, and the man was taken to an area hospital for his injury.
The APD Violent Crimes Unit is investigating the incident.
