AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — The Amarillo Sod Poodles along with Diamond Creations announced that the team’s food and beverage are set to open the Concessions Fundraising Program for the 2024 season.
According to an Amarillo Sod Poodles news release, this program aims to be a fundraising opportunity for nonprofit groups through concession stand sales.
Officials encourage non-profit or 501(c)(3) groups to join such as sporting clubs, cheer groups, girl and boy scout troops, church, and school organizations with a possible goal of meeting fundraiser needs.
The Sod Poodles detailed that to participate, “Groups simply provide individuals to work in a concession stand, and, in turn, earn money for their organization.” Officials added that out of 69 games groups will not be limited to games they can work in, all dates will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
