Amarillo man reaches plea agreement on drug charges

AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — According to court documents filed in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas Amarillo Division, an Amarillo man reached a plea agreement on Federal Drug Charges.

According to court documents, Corey Anglin agreed to plead guilty to “Possession with Intent Distribute Methamphetamine.”

A Factual Resume filed in district court states that in April 2023, Anglin “did knowingly and internationally distribute and possess with intent to distribute a mixture or substance containing a detectable amount of methamphetamine…”

In April 2023, the FBI used a “confidential source” to purchase the alleged meth from Anglin. The source was provided with $300 who then went to Anglin’s home and purchased the alleged meth while equipped with a video and audio recording device.

Anglin’s Re-arraignment is scheduled for next week.
