AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) – Boxing is a fast-growing sport here in Amarillo, and recently Today in Amarillo’s Roushell Hamilton Jr. sat down with Jonathan Mowad, a local boxer out of Legends Boxing in Amarillo.
He’s stepping in the ring for the first time on Friday, Feb. 9, at the 2024 Golden Gloves Boxing Championship in Lubbock.
The action all goes down tonight starting at 7 p.m. at Prima Vista Events in Lubbock.
Tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for kids.
