Warming trend on the way after a snowy weekend

Good morning, folks!

Starting the morning with temps in the 20s and teens across the High Plains. Temps are forecasted to be in the 40s with calm to light winds and sunny skies today. Our disturbance that brought us some snow on Sunday has pushed off to the east, The highest observation was in Plainview with 14″ of snowfall. In Canyon and Amarillo we had a range between 5″ to 6″. Expect a warming trend into Thursday. Mild temps in the 60s return for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. For Valentines we could see some breezy winds but overall pleasant conditions for this time of year. By then end of the week another front moves in, and it is expected to drop our temps into the 40s for Saturday.
