Amarillo, TX – Extreme heat continues to impact Amarillo and surrounding areas today, with highs expected to reach 94 degrees. The National Weather Service is forecasting even hotter conditions in Palo Duro Canyon, where temperatures could climb to 100 degrees. Winds out of the south at 10-20 mph will bring little relief.
