AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – Amarillo’s Habitat for Humanity will be holding classes for their Homeowner Program for those looking for affordable and safe housing. Families in the Habitat Homeowner Program are required to complete 30 hours of financial stability courses, must buy in and earn 500 sweat equity hours and put a $1,500 down payment towards first-year taxes and insurance.
