Officials from the Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT) released information on various lane closures and updates due to ongoing projects :
Monday
On Monday, Sept. 30, the right lane of southbound Hwy. 136 at mile marker 118 will be closed for patching operations.
Tuesday
On Tuesday, Oct. 1, the Eastbound State Loop (SL) 335 at US 87 will be closed for patching operations. In addition, the Central Avenue and US 87 intersection will be closed for bridge panel placement; the work is expected to be completed by the end of the day.
Wednesday
On Wednesday, Oct. 2, the Amarillo Boulevard bridge over SL 335 will be closed in both directions for patching operations.
Throughout the week
Expect various lane closures on northbound I-27 from the I-40 interchange to SW 45th Avenue as crews continue paving operations.
Expect various lane closures on eastbound I-40 at BNSF Railroad, I-27 interchange, Harrison, Arthur and Ross Streets for continued bridgework. The north and southbound I-27 entrance ramps to eastbound I-40 will be closed during this time.
