CANYON, Texas (KAMR/KCIT)—Dove Creek Equine Rescue will host its annual Sunset Dinner Fundraising Event on Saturday from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. In partnership with the American Fundraising Foundation, the fundraiser will feature an auction of eight trips.
Officials note that the event will include entertainment, dining, and support for the organization’s mission to protect and rehabilitate horses in need.
DCER officials said they will be auctioned off live on four trips at the fundraiser. The travel packages include:
- Costa Rica- Escape to Paradise
- Croatia- A Mediterranean Gem
- Africa- Safari Adventure
- James Bond Excursion through Switzerland, Venice and Monte Carlo
Further, officials said four additional trips would be auctioned online, allowing anyone to participate from anywhere. Bidding for these trips will open on Tuesday. The online trips include:
- Greece- The Land of Myths and Legends
- Alaskan Cruise- Wilderness and Wonder
- Nashville- Music City Magic
- Ireland- The Emerald Isle
