TxDOT: I-27 exit ramp to 26th Ave. among this week’s road work

Officials from the Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT) released information on various lane closures and updates due to ongoing projects :

On Monday, Oct. 7, the southbound I-27 exit ramp to 26th Avenue will be closed due to patching operations on the frontage road. The work is expected to take two days to complete.

Throughout the week

Expect various lane and ramp closures on northbound I-27 from the I-40 interchange to SW 45th Avenue as crews continue paving operations.

Expect various lane closures on eastbound I-40 at BNSF Railroad, I-27 interchange, Harrison, Arthur and Ross streets for continued bridgework. The north and southbound I-27 entrance ramps to eastbound I-40 as well as the Washington Street entrance ramp will be closed during this time.

Expect various lane closures in both directions of I-27 at the Bell Street intersection for bridge maintenance.

Please drive with caution and reduce speed through all work zones. All projects are subject to change due to weather, emergency work and other unexpected events.
