The Greenways Fall Pumpkin Pickin’ event, held Sunday evening in the Greenways of Amarillo, gave local families the opportunity to select a free pumpkin from the hundreds available. Boy Scouts from the area volunteered to help hand out pumpkins, lending a helping hand to ensure everyone found just the right one. Adding to the festive atmosphere, Ruckus, the mascot for the Amarillo Sod Poodles, made a special appearance, entertaining children and families.
