CANYON, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — Officials with Canyon Economic Development Corporation announced a brand-new restaurant project to add to downtown Canyon.
The new addition aims to increase economic growth and make the area even more welcoming to travelers. The Tex Randall statue will have company as the project is set be located at 1410 State Highway 60.

According to Canyon EDC, the new restaurant will offer a “build-your-own” menu featuring customizable burritos, tacos, burgers, and salads. The name of the restaurant has not been officially decided but is tentatively named “Big Texas Burritos.”
Canyon EDC along with the City of Canyon, support the project as it, “Will play a key role in our ongoing efforts to make the 15th Street corridor a vibrant and inviting destination for all.”
Officials detailed that Canyon EDC has already approved $50,000 in incentives to support the restaurant aiming to ensure it becomes a central part of Canyon’s economic landscape.
