AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — Workforce Solutions Panhandle has partnered with Barr Field Services for a hiring event at their Amarillo office.
According to officials with WSP, Barr Field Services is an international wind service company with technicians that travel to perform specialized repairs and maintenance on wind turbines. Officials noted the hiring event will be on Oct. 18 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Oct. 19 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and will be located at Workforce Solutions Panhandle on 3120 Eddy St.
Officials stated those interested in attending can reserve their spot and submit an application on the Barr Field Services website.

- MUST TRAVEL 100% – Flexible R&R schedules available. While traveling, you receive a daily per diem to cover the cost of meals and incidentals. Company provides hotels and transportation. Paid travel time.

• Must pass Drug Test and DOT Physical

Starting Pay : $26-30+/hour depending on experience, overtime expected.
Welder & Machinist Pay: $30-$35+/hour depending on experience, overtime expected.
