AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — The Texas Department of Transportation Amarillo District released its “Know Before You Go” report for lane closures and detours expected during the week of Oct. 13.
According to TxDOT, road closures and detours expected for the week include:
Monday
- Expect various lane closures in both directions of US 87 in Canyon from Russell Long Boulevard to Canyon High School for pre-paving operations. The work is expected to be completed by Wednesday, Oct. 16.
Throughout the Week
- Residents can expect various lane and ramp closures on northbound IH-27 from the IH-40 interchange to SW 45 th Avenue as crews continue paving operations.
- Residents can expect various lane closures on westbound IH-40 at the IH-27 interchange and Harrison Street for continued bridgework. The north and southbound IH-27 entrance ramps to eastbound IH-40 as well as the Washington Street entrance ramp will be closed during this time.
- Residents can expect various lane closures in both directions of IH-27 at the Bell Street intersection for bridge maintenance.
