National Wild Turkey Federation announces photo contest

EDGEFIELD, S.C. (KAMR/KCIT) — The National Wild Turkey Federation announces it is looking for submissions for its 2025 Photo Contest with the potential for $7,000 in prizes.

Winners could also potentially have their photo on display at the 2025 Convention and Sport Show or featured in Turkey Call magazine.

“The NWTF Photo Contest has long been an opportunity for the industry’s most talented photographers to showcase their passion for capturing images of live wild turkeys in the field,” said the organization.

The deadline to submit a phot is Jan. 10

Photos can be submitted in the following categories:

  • Live Wild Turkey
    • The NWTF said all entries should have live wild turkeys as the focus.
  • Live Wildlife
    • Any wildlife (game and non-game species, not turkeys) are eligible.
  • Scenic Wild Landscapes
  • Hunting/Outdoor Lifestyle
