AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — An Amarillo man agreed to plead guilty for “Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine,” according to court documents that were published in the US District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
As was previously reported by MyHighPlains.com, Fabian Hernandez was arrested in May on alleged drug trafficking charges. He was indicted on one count of “conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine” and one count of “possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine,” in June.
A conditional plea agreement states that Hernandez has agreed to plead guilty to “Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine.”
MyHighPlains.com reported that Hernandez was arrested after a search warrant was carried out on an Amarillo home where law enforcement said they found a firearm, around 2.4 pounds of alleged methamphetamine, and $7,600.

According to a Factual Resume filed in district court, Hernandez “admitted to possessing the narcotics located inside the residence.” A lab report confirmed the substance found in the home was methamphetamine in June.
