Rain, wind, and thundershowers

Good Saturday morning, everyone!

We are waking up to an overcast with scattered showers and thunderstorms.  As the day unfolds, additional chances of rain will be possible.  As of this writing, our central and western counties have the best chance of precipitation.  Eventually, as an upper-level storm moves across our northern counties, our eastern zones could see some rain, primarily tomorrow.  While severe weather should be held to a few storms, don’t let your guard down.  Lightning, sudden downburst winds, pockets of small hail, and heavy downpours could be seen.

Regarding temperature, today will trade off between the cool 50’s and 60’s, while tomorrow could moderate back into the mid to upper 60’s, and a few low 70’s.  No rain is expected for this upcoming workweek.

Have a safe and enjoyable weekend, everyone!
