AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) – Ahead of the start of the Working Ranch Cowboys Association’s 29th Annual World Championship Ranch Rodeo on Thursday, association officials took to social media to warn community members about scam websites and accounts.
“Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but we implore you to not follow these accounts or sign up for anything they are pretending to offer,” said WRCA representatives on social media in the Wednesday evening update.

While some of the pages “look pretty dang convincing,” WRCA representatives advised that the association only has one official Facebook account and one official live-streaming platform.
Those pages and platforms, as reminded by WRCA, include:
- The official Facebook page: WRCA Working Ranch Cowboys Association
- The official WRCA website: WRCA.org
- The official live-streaming platform’s Facebook page: Ride TV
- The official live-streaming platform’s website: RideTVGo.tv
