Small Business Saturday was celebrated locally

AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — Right after Black Friday and before Cyber Monday comes Small Business Saturday, a way for shoppers to shop for the holidays while also supporting local businesses.

Many small businesses in Amarillo celebrated the day, with one of them being CB Boutique.

“We’re doing small business Saturday, so we have eight special vendors in the store, and we are doing rotating hourly deals, and then we do have an extra boutique out here and a food truck out front as well,” said CB Boutique store manager Holly Hill.

Hill said that when looking for gifts, CB Boutique is the perfect place because the store offers many options.

“There’s something in this store for everybody. We have a whole wall of stocking stuffers. We have all the way from infants to women. We even have a men’s section here,” said Hill.

The store was filled on Saturday with everyone scoring deals while also shopping locally.
