AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – Sadie Sanchez, Victor Juarez and Aaliyah Chavez were three of 805 total players nominated for the McDonald’s All-American Games.
Sadie Sanchez, the Randall Lady Raider, set the national record for three-pointers made in a season (191) last year according to MaxPreps. This year, she has helped the Lady Raiders to a 13-9 season, going 5-1 in district play.
Vic Jaurez, the Palo Duro Don, has been scoring in bunches all season long. In just 1.5 years at the varsity level, the star senior crossed the 1,000 points threshold just a few night ago. He has helped lead the Dons to one of the best seasons in program history: currently 22-2, 7-1 in District 3-5A and ranked #20 in the state for Class 5-A.
Aaliyah Chavez, the Monterey Lady Plainsmen, is the #1 player in the country for the class of 2025. She has captained her team to a 27-4 record, which is good for the #1 ranking in Class 5A, while averaging 36.2 points and 9.3 rebounds per game…
