AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) – One man was indicted in Amarillo Federal Court on Wednesday on multiple counts related to alleged drug trafficking and gun possession, according to court documents.
Antonio Dawon Tucker was indicted on one count of alleged possession of cocaine base with intent to distribute, one count of being a convicted felon in possession of a gun and one count of possessing a gun in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.

According to court documents, the indictment came after police searched Tucker’s vehicle during a traffic stop in December 2024. At the time, officers allegedly found a pistol in the vehicle which Tucker said he had despite having previous felony convictions. Tucker was also allegedly found to have “a detectable amount” of cocaine base.
