Randall, Canyon, Lake Tanglewood fire departments respond to early morning mobile home fire

AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) – The Randall County Fire Department, Canyon Fire Department, and Lake Tanglewood Volunteer Fire Department responded to an early morning mobile home fire on Thursday.

According to officials from RCFD, RCFD responded to the 1300 block of Holbrook St. for a residential structure fire just after 6 a.m. Officials noted that arriving crews found a double-wide mobile home with heavy fire conditions and mutual aid from the Canyon Fire Department, and Lake Tanglewood Volunteer Fire Department was requested.

RCFD officials stated the fire was brought under control within an hour and no one was home at the time of the fire. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
