I have always considered Amarillo a really big little town, meaning it has a lot to offer. We have a lot of people. We have a lot of places. There is a lot going on in our city but it still seems like we have a lot of small-town values. Or at least we try to keep that small-town feeling.
One of the best things about this big little town is how we can keep the lines of communication open. If we have a problem it is not hard to bring it up to the people who can help us solve it. If we need to get a message to the mayor or one of our city council we have the ability to do that.
The more communication the better. An even better way is to meet, chat, and get to know people in our community before you need them. It’s nice to have a conversation and make that connection ahead of any situations that may arise…
