CANYON, Texas — A Canyon ISD school bus was struck by a semi-truck this afternoon at the intersection of US 60 and FM 2590, according to law enforcement. The semi-truck reportedly ran a red light, colliding with the bus as it was turning north.
Students from Spring Canyon Elementary and Canyon Intermediate School were on the bus at the time of the accident. While most students were unharmed, one student was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries as a precaution, according to a press release from Canyon ISD.
